Here is another of my insects: a dragonfly I found and sketched months ago. I had always seen this beautiful insects in motion, and drawing it was very interesting. (I’m  wondering why I hated biology so much when I was at school!) Wings are really beautiful but perhaps I’m too lazy to make a perfect copy of them…This is one of my favorite sketches yet. I think I’ll look for more insects this summer.

Sometimes I find dead bodies of insects in my garden, and I pick them up to draw them in my spare time. Well…this mantis has been waiting in a drawer for months…and 2 legs were broken.
