tristan
This sketch depicts my little pet sleeping on his back. It’s an incomplete sketch, but I think it’s funny; and my boyfriend likes it very much
This week i have been very busy and I couldn’t draw, but there are some old sketches I’d like to show: her is one if them… abuot Tristan, as usual!
I like this drawing even if it isn’t complete; perhaps I’ll finish it, but I’m not sure.
I was completing this sketch when my Tristan woke up and rose- very slowly, to make me more angry.
Last week my kitten Tristan suddenly disappeared. I was a bit worried, it was the first time he left home, but he came back after two 48 hours…and then spent the whole day sleeping on his favourite chair. The wild wasn’t call him any more!
I had the opportunity to make some sketches: I like drawing him while he is completely relaxed, and he assumes funny or tender poses. Unfortunately, he often moves, so I have only a few minutes to sketch him.

This sweet and fluffy kitten is my Tristan. He used to wander around my parents’ house; he was abandoned so I decided to take care of him and he has lived with me for a month.
I was sure he was a female, so I named him Serafina, after the character in Neil Gaiman’s Stardust: whit his white fur he reminded me a little fallen star. Then I took him to the vet for vaccination, and the doctor said: “What a beautiful male!”
Tristan and Serafina are the main characters in the novel.
They got married and lived happily .
My grandfather used to end the story with this rhymes, in dialect:
e an fat un pastin e un paston
e a mi che l’hai contada niancia un bocon
e ‘a me an trat un uos ta la schena
c’a è tutta nuot che se remena.
(…and they had a big dinner
I told the story bat I couldnt’t eat
and they threw a bone at me
so my back has been hurting all night.)
The prince brought Sofia to the carriage, but he suddently hear a voice singing:
“Sparrow, little sparrow, go away from my seeds!
The daughter of my stepmother is going to marry my fiancè!”
The prince understood: he got into the house and arrived to the storage room following Serena’s voice. He kicked in the door, and freed Serena. Then he pushed Sofia out of the carriage and went to the church with Serena.
